Your journey through Cornerstone Nurseries
Babies
When your child starts their journey with our dedicated team at Cornerstone Nurseries, we pride ourselves on ensuring that we meet the needs of all babies in our care. We will try our upmost to incorporate your home routine into their nursery life which will ensure consistency to the best of our ability.
We will provide your baby with lots of cuddles, support and opportunities to actively explore through visual, tactile, and early sensory experiences.
When we feel your child is at the stage of needing a more stimulating environment and are steady on their feet, upon discussions with yourselves, we will begin transitions to our toddler room.
Toddlers
Our toddler room fosters purposeful movement, independence, and learning through play, supporting emotional growth and expanding vocabulary, knowledge, and confidence.
We understand that the toddler age is one of big emotions, toddlers are just finding themselves and becoming more and more aware of their surroundings. This means they require that bit of extra patience, understanding and warmth from those who care for them. When your child is confident in all areas of learning, they may seek new challenges, which shows us their readiness for moving up to Pre School.
Pre-School
Our Preschool will offer a balance of child-initiated and guided learning at this age, whilst we still provide children with the guidance and help that they need, we strongly encourage independence to ensure their school readiness.
Whilst preparing your child to graduate we will embed the skills and knowledge they require to move onto their formal years in education, we have a big focus on maths and literacy through catered styles of learning.

Our staff team at Cornerstone Nurseries is one that we are proud to say are very longstanding. Most of our team have been with us for many years which shows a commitment and aptitude for the teaching and caring of all the children.
Whilst being happy in their surroundings and employment, there is no extensive hierarchy at Cornerstone Nurseries, as we feel that working together as a team can provide the best outcome for our families.
We aim to keep our staffing level at 90% qualified to level 3 and above across the company, whilst encouraging students from local colleges and training companies who have chosen their career path within childcare to which we provide an enriching environment for them to thrive, learn and develop their skills and eventually become a proud member of our Cornerstone team.
