Nursery Overview
Kelham Island Day Nursery is the latest acquisition for Cornerstone Nurseries Ltd, set to open early 2025!
The former V & V Restaurant is undergoing a full renovation where we will be laying the foundations to provide a first class educational environment for children to thrive and grow in, including our roof top outdoor play which fits in well with the surrounding environment.
We are an ideal location for anyone living or working in Kelham Island and surrounding areas, we are on route to all local hospitals with our easily accessible one way system which takes you straight to the nursery doors and back onto the main road.

Please note that safeguarding all children in our care is of utmost importance to us, because of this we require anyone visiting our nurseries to bring a form of photo identification along with them.

Our Meals
At Cornerstone Nurseries we truly believe that a good nutritional diet is essential to support children’s growth in all areas, including; brain development, strong bones and muscle.
This provides them with the energy that they need to thoroughly explore the world around them.
That is why our menus contain high volumes of vegetables, pulses, fish and plant-based foods. We provide a world menu, encouraging and developing children’s tastes to the all-encompassing environment in which we now live.
We always have fresh fruit available for the children alongside our world menus.

Opening Times
We are open from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am and 6.30pm throughout the year, closed Bank Holidays.
Fees
Our current hourly rate is £10.00 per hour
Extra hours will be charged at £10.00.
Baby consumables can be provided i.e. nappies, wipes, creams by Nursery for a £30.00 charge per month. However, an option to provide your own is acceptable.
A £100.00 non refundable admission fee is required to secure your nursery place.
We will try our utmost to accommodate any unusual hours or sessions required, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Government Funding
All Cornerstone Nurseries settings accept Government funded places.
We accept all Childcare Vouchers alongside the Government Tax Free Childcare.
